Was looking at some ads while listening to DP’s RAM when this came to mind. Guess sometimes its that easy.
Here are some early sketches of a children’s book that I’m working on. The story is legit, book is going to be good. be on the lookout when it publishes
Took a trip to North Carolina this past weekend. the food was so good that the guy next to me ordered a second plate. unfortunately he was not able to finish for reasons beyond a full stomach..
Hi, my name is….
… and i totally forgot. Michael or something. Met some fine human beings last night at one of my regular bars and bullshitted a little about the manning bros, celtics-lakers game and other sports.. (whats that word i’m looking for? oh yeah)..stuff. My company at the time was two women. Now, ladies, be very careful about when and where you decide to drop the sports talk- more specifically, those around you while you are talking about this “stuff”. it ever so happened that michael (lets just call him michael), who was sitting a good 8 ft’ from us, nudged in and picked apart, analyzed, and educated us on the content that we have been conversing about. now fellas, when you decide to jump into a conversation, and remain fixated only on the females, you totally blow your cover. michael soon went from being mr. espn professor to sports-talk creeper dude. He stuck around a little longer before “heading out” to karaoke or something. and for some reason i woke up this morning and drew him. its pretty damn amazing how anybody, anything, beautiful or ugly, big or small, (in this case, cool or creepy) can leave a lasting impression on the psyche. i thought that this was a great opportunity to create a character out of michael-the creeper dude turned character at the bar that i was drinking at last night.
kids, be careful what you draw up. they might come alive and eat you.
I am working on illustrating a children’s book at the moment, and started looking at kid drawings for inspiration. this came to mind when i stumbled upon the image.
